I'm writing this post from Germany, it's been a crazy few days! I've been in 4 different countries in the last 4 days! (including belgium so I know it's kind of cheating) I love being able to travel so easily!

I went to Paris for 2 days last week, on a trip with school. Had an awesome time, I'd forgotten how amazing Paris is. On thursday we went to a big hotel exhibition cos the trip was with hotel management students. I found it surprisingly interesting though, and got to try lots of food samples! We stayed the night in a hotel then on friday went to the Louvre and generally wandered around the city. I spoke lots of french and actually made friends with my students, yay!

On Saturday Will, Caroline and I went to Maastricht for the day, that was exciting, I'd never been to dutchland before. Had a really cool day, it was a bit crazy though cos there was a festival going on so lots of drunk people dressed up and really bad music!

Today I decided to come to Aachen for the day to start my christmas shopping, just because I can!

In other news...
Had a brilliant week when Alex was here. We went to Brussels for the day and it absolutely tipped it down the entire day so we spent most of the time in cafes! It was still a cool day though. On friday we went to Bruges for the day, it is such an amazing place! Lots of canals and beautiful buildings. There's a big tower you can climb so we did that, there was a great view from the top. On Nov 5th we had our own little bonfire celebration! Will came round too and we let off a few rockets and had lots of sparklers and then made a little fire in a metal umbrella bucket on the roof top! So that was lots of fun, and we've introduced Belgium to a bit of English culture now!
